Dennis H. Liberson is an Operating Advisor focusing on organizational and human resource strategies, human capital planning, acquisition and development. He is based in Washington, DC.
Liberson is currently an advisor and director of several private equity portfolio companies: American Residential Services, Sound United, Polyconcept (Charlesbank Capital Partners) and WorldStrides (Eurazeo). Liberson was Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Real Estate for Capital One Financial Corporation from 1995 to 2003, following its spin-off from Signet Bank. During this period, Capital One grew from fewer than 2,000 to over 24,000 associates. Liberson was the architect of Capital One’s human resource strategy and programs, including recruitment, selection, and competency-based performance management, compensation, and employee development. He was also responsible for Capital One’s capacity planning and corporate real estate functions.
Under Liberson’s leadership, Training Magazine named Capital One its top company for human resource development in 2001. Workforce Magazine featured Capital One in a case study highlighting its talent acquisition strategies in December 2000. Liberson was regarded an innovator in organization and human resource strategies and was frequently asked to address professional groups.
Prior to joining Capital One, Liberson served as Vice President, Human Resource Services for Burger King Corporation in Miami, Florida (1989-1994) and in Human Resource and Labor Relations management positions with American Cyanamid Company in Wayne, New Jersey (1988-1989) and Philip Morris USA in Richmond, Virginia (1980-1988).
Liberson received his Masters Degree in Labor and Industrial Relations (M.L.I.R.) from Michigan State University (1980). He has a B.A. in Economics and Government from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia (1978).
Liberson served on the Board of Visitors of The College of William and Mary, including two years on the Executive Committee and as Secretary. He previously was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Divers Alert Network, Inc. and Executive Chairman of DAN Services, Inc. in Durham, North Carolina, and on the Board of Directors of the Coral Reef Alliance in San Francisco, California and the Virginia Scenic Rivers Advisory Board.
Senior HR Business Partner @ Chevron
Jeanne Brunckhurst is originally from St. Louis, MO and currently works as the Senior HR Business Partner for the Law Function in Houston, TX. Prior to this, she worked on the Chevron HR Innovation project as a Change Management Deployment Lead.
Jeanne joined Chevron as a fulltime employee in 2007 as part of the HR Development program after completing an internship with them in 2006. Throughout her career Jeanne has gained broad Global HR experience through roles across domestic and international HR assignments including HR Generalist, Total Remuneration, Expatriate Mobility, HR Change Management Project work, and supervisory roles.
Before Chevron, Jeanne was a Flight Attendant for 16 years with United Airlines. During her time at United she served as Local Union President for the Association of Flight Attendants representing the Flight Attendants in Newark New Jersey.
Jeanne obtained two master’s degrees from MSU, an M.A. in Organizational Communications and a M.A. in Human Resources & Labor Relations. She is a proud Spartan and is happy to say that her daughter is a 2019 Spartan graduate with her JD/MBA.

Josh is the Director of University Relations & Early Career Programs within Honeywell’s Talent organization. In this role, oversees the university engagement strategy and execution of hiring of 2000+ interns, Co-Ops, Apprentices, and full time talent from Universities globally. Also oversees early career strategy for ~12 Early Career Programs as well as manage the Future HR Leader Early Career program.
Previously, Josh was the HR Analytics Leader, overseeing data reporting, analytics, data visualization, and automation for the Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Diversity & Inclusion, and Commercial organizations. Since joining Honeywell as an intern himself in 2014 and full time in 2015 in the HR Development program formally known as HR Pathways, Josh has held various roles as a benefit of the program broadening his experience and knowledge of the HR profession.
Josh has a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and a Masters Degree in HR & LR from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. He grew up in small “village” of Emmett, MI and after finishing graduate school he has lived in several different locations in the US to take challenging roles within Honeywell. Josh has recently celebrated his 1 year anniversary with his wife and welcomed his first child, which has now (very happily) taken up his free time.
VP Talent Management-Honeywell Aerospace @ Honeywell
Josh is the Vice President Talent Management within Honeywell’s Aerospace organization. In this role, oversees the talent processes (development, retention, succession) for a 20,000+ employee global organization, focused on developing the best talent in the Aero industry. He also drives Inclusion and Diversity initiatives across Aerospace and is co-chair of the Honeywell All Abilities network.
Previously, Josh was the VP Talent Acquisition, overseeing the end to end staffing processes for Aerospace. He was Director of Data and Analytics overseeing HR reporting and scorecards, and advanced HR Analytics. In this role for 5 years he was responsible for key HR IT systems and executive reporting. Since joining Honeywell in 2000, Josh has held a number of roles of increasing responsibility within the HR organization. For 10 years he was an HR Generalist/Manager/Director in both the Chemicals and Aerospace business, primarily supporting manufacturing sites.
Josh has a business degree from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec and a Masters Degree in HR from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. After growing up outside of Toronto, Josh has spent the past 20 years moving further south. He has lived happily (and warm) in Phoenix, AZ for the past 15 years. He is married with 2 children and spends his free time routing for the Arizona Diamondbacks, reading, cooking and traveling.
Human Resources Manager-North American Container Division, North Area @ International Paper
Erik joined the company as a human resources resources intern at the Bucksport, Maine paper mill in 1987. He returned for subsequent internships in 1988 and 1989.
In 1990, Erik joined the company full time as a human resources associate at the Courtland, Alabama paper mill.
In addition to Courtland, Erik has held HR and Organizational Development roles at the Sartell, Minnesota paper mill and at Global Headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee.
In 2004, he began working in the packaging business as a Regional HR Manager for the midwest based in Chicago. In this role he supported manufacturing and sales teams in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
During the next 8 years, IP acquired BoxUSA, Weyerhaeuser, and Temple Inland packaging businesses. Erik had roles leading teams, executing integration activities and supporting manufacturing plants in the West Coast, Mexico, and Chile followed by similar role supporting facilities in the East Coast and Midwest.
Since 2017, Erik has led the HR team that supports IP’s packaging business in the North Area. The North Area includes 60 manufacturing facilities across 15 states and over 6,000 team members.
Erik holds a BS degree in Economics/Finance from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts.
He and his wife, Chris have three children, Kimberly (19), Katie (17) and Kyle (14) and live in the Chicago area

Jess Benaglio supports the North America Human Resources and Finance functions for PepsiCo Foods. Prior to her current role Jess supported the PepsiCo field Sales and Supply Chain functions in Northern and Southern California. In addition to her primary job functions, Jess has been recognized for her commitment to Mental Health advocacy. In 2019 Jess founded Every Mind Enabled (EME), which aims to bring open and honest conversations about mental health into the workplace. Salena Kountz currently serves as the HR Manager at Frito Lay's Fayetteville, Tennessee site, supporting the supply chain function.
