Professional Statement

My career in education began in the classroom, but my work has gradually expanded to include educator support, technology implementation, data analysis, professional learning, and resource development.

In my current role, I support educators across nine grade levels with using digital learning platforms, understanding performance data, and putting district initiatives into practice. I regularly analyze i-Ready and Zearn data, create resources that make expectations easier to understand, and help teachers work through curriculum, pacing, and technology challenges. I have also coordinated professional learning and connected educators with additional training opportunities.

My classroom experience has shaped how I approach technology and user support. Introducing a new platform is not enough. People need clear guidance, useful resources, and continued support as they learn how to use it. Technology should solve a real problem, be accessible to its users, and improve the experience of both educators and students.

Through my Master of Arts in Educational Technology, I studied instructional design, Universal Design for Learning, and the TPACK framework. My graduate work included designing asynchronous learning experiences, organizing digital learning environments, and exploring how technology can support learners with different needs and abilities.

I am now interested in opportunities involving educational technology, program implementation, training, customer success, and program support. I hope to contribute in a role where I can help organizations introduce useful tools, support the people using them, and apply data and feedback to improve program delivery.
