Under the direction of Lisa Linnenbrink-Garcia, our research focuses on the development of achievement motivation in school settings and the interplay among achievement motivation, affect, and learning, particularly in STEM fields. We are interested in identifying and creating educational contexts that enhance students’ motivation and subsequent academic engagement and learning.
