Prodigy:
Prodigy is an interactive math game where students solve math problems in order to battle friends and earn points! It is a great way to get students engaged in math skills.
Xtra Math:
Xtra math is a site that builds student's math fact fluency. Simply answer the simple math problems quickly and track your progress!
Freckle:
Freckle is for math and English language arts. This site helps to practice math skills, reading comprehension, phonics, and reading skills. Kids love this site because when you earn coins you can edit your character and go into the Freckle store to buy clothes for your character.
Epic:
This is a great reading tool for at home learning. Epic has hundreds of books for students to choose from. Books can be read aloud, read independently, or read with your child. Some books have questions at the end too!
Storyline Online:
I love this site because it is all books being read aloud with pictures by celebrities. Students love this for having a snack and watching a book as well as reading along with it too!
PBS Kids:
PBS kids is an educational game site. Most of the games are based on something your child may have learned or is learning at school but in a game format.
Typing.com:
Kids are no longer taught how to type and we will be typing for the rest of our lives. This site helps kids gain typing skills to type more efficiently and prepares them for the future.
Read Theory:
Read Theory I recommend for readers 2nd grade and up. It is adaptive meaning, if your child is reading accurately and answering questions correctly, the reading passages will get trickier. This is great practice for reading comprehension as well as state testing. It is all short reading passages and questions.
Quizizz:
This site is a really fun way for students to test their skills. Teachers can assign quizzes or students can get on and find their own!
Class Dojo:
Dojo is fun because students or teachers can pick a character for your child. This is how I communicate with my student families throughout the school year as well as track student behavior. Dojo focuses on rewarding positive behavior as well as helps to teach mindfulness.
