Shark Class continued to work hard on their writing this term, and we thoroughly enjoyed our work on 'After the Fall' with some fantastic descriptive vocabulary choices and empathy with how Humpty felt about heights. We also had fun learning the story, 'The Chimpanzees of Happy Town' for National Storytelling Week.
In maths, we now understand multiplication as repeated addition and how 'skip counting' can help us to solve equations. We have also begun to use key vocabulary such as factors, product and commutativity. Well done Shark Class!
At the end of term, we marked the start of Children's Mental Health week with our wellness day where we looked at transforming our outdoor space, like the transformation in our book, to a colourful happy place to be. We also finally made our potion from Professor Klunk, explored what it means to be a good friend, and enjoyed a visit from Maple and Coco with some children beginning to feel more confident to hold them.
