Our PE lessons this term will be on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please send your child to school in their PE kit on these days.

Reading at home - All children have a reading journal that needs to be brought into school every day. Please aim to read at least three times a week at home with your child. Reading books will be checked and changed on Wednesdays. Reading journals will also be checked on Fridays.

Spellings - During Terms 1 and 2, Year 2 will continue to follow the phonics scheme and alongside this will have individual lists to practise. We will check spelling progress on Wednesdays.

Doodlemaths - All children will have a log in which can be found in their Reading Records.  They will then be expected to do Doodlemaths three times a week - once at school, and twice at home.

Wellington boots will be needed in school every day as we continue to benefit from the use of the field at lunchtimes.
