Reading at home - All children have a reading journal that needs to be brought into school every day. Please aim to read at least three times a week at home with your child. Reading books will be checked and changed on Wednesdays, unless your child has moved to Accelerated Reader in which case they will change books as they finish them and complete a quiz in school. Spellings - From Term 3 we will be taking an investigative approach to spellings and exploring different spelling strategies. There will be different focus words each week, and we will have an informal check on Fridays. The list for Term 3 can be viewed here.

Doodlemaths - All children will have a log in which can be found in their Reading Records.  They will then be expected to do Doodlemaths three times a week - once at school, and twice at home.

Wellington boots will be needed in school every day.
