Dr. Swapnadip De graduated in Radio physics and Electronics from the University College of Science and Technology in 2001. He obtained his M.Tech degree in VLSI and Microelectronics from Jadavpur University. He was awarded PhD in Engineering from Jadavpur University in July 30, 2013.
He is presently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology since December 12, 2002.
He worked as the HOD of ECE department for 2 years. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and was an EXCOM member of IEEE EDS Kolkata Chapter from 2013 to 2018.
He was the the Branch Counselor of IEEE MSIT Student Branch from February 2017 to January 2021.
He was the Chapter Advisor of IEEE EDS MSIT SBC and Vice Chairman of IEEE EDS Kolkata Chapter in 2015 and 2016.
He was an Executive Member of IEEE Kolkata Section from January 2015 to January 2018.
He is a Senior Member of International Engineering and Technology Institute, Hong Kong and a Life Member of IETE.
He has published papers in refereed International Journals of reputed publishers like Elsevier, Springer, IEEE Transactions, IET, Wiley, Taylor and Francis, World Scientific and WSEAS, to name a few.
He has already authored/ co-authored 11 books in the field of VLSI Design and Nano Device Modelling in India and abroad.
He is the Official reviewer of many reputed International Journals and Conferences like IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices.
He is the Editor of many International publishing houses like Inderscience Publications, UK and WASET, USA.
He has organized many International/ National Conferences, workshops, Seminars, DL/technical talks and Mini-Colloquium.
His biography is included in the Marquis Who's who in the World in 2010,2016, 2020 and 2021. He is selected for 2018 Albert Nelsen Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Whos Who Selection Committee.
