Rental Information
Instruments may be rented through any store of your choice. However, we do work directly with the stores listed below. They deliver instruments and materials to the school, and pick up any returns or repairs throughout the year.
When you rent your instrument, please note that a lesson book is required. Extra reeds for saxes and clarinets are also required. Music stands and care kits are nice, but not required.

Please do not purchase instruments from Amazon, Costco, or other non-music retailers. These are usually poor quality instruments, are difficult to play or even make a sound on, and when they break the music stores are not able to repair them. The quality of the instrument directly impacts your child's experience.
All instruments should be an appropriate color for the instrument. "Fun" colors are often used to cover poor materials, and usually are not worth the cost. Clarinets should be black, flutes silver, saxes gold/brass color, brass instruments should be brass or silver colored, and strings should always be some shade of brown.
Plastic pBone and pTrumpets are not permitted due to their intonation and sound quality issues.
