National Scholarships

ELIGIBILITY 

• The USSYP is a national nonpartisan intiative to provide an annual opportunity for talented high school students with demonstrated leadership abilities to deepen their understanding of America's political processes and strengthen their resolve to pursue careers in public service.  

• Open to Juniors and Seniors who have held particular roles in Student Council, National Honor Society, Civic or Educational Community Entities.

Deadline:  October 10, 2025

ELIGIBILITY 

• An Achievement-based scholarship awarded to students who are also recognized for their capacity to lead and serve.

• Open to Seniors only

• Minimum 3.0 GPA to apply

ELIGIBILITY 

• The Voice of Democracy has been the Veterans of Foreign Wars' premier scholarship program.  

• Open to students grade 9-12

Deadline:  October 31, 2025

ELIGIBILITY 

• Within the Elks Scholarship Program, service, leadership, and academics help students recognize their academic dreams.  

• Must be a high school Senior or equivalent, who are citizens of the United States

Deadline:  November 12, 2025

ELIGIBILITY 

• Minimum 3.5 GPA

• Must work 240 hours from Jan 1, 2026 to September 1, 2026

• Must enroll in a four-year college or university in the Fall of 2026

Deadline:  December 1, 2025

ELIGIBILITY 

• Must be a High School Senior

• Must be a child (step)/grandchild (step), or legal ward of a living Elk member who joined on or before April 1, 2023 or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2023

Deadline:  February 2, 2026

ELIGIBILITY 

• Minimum 2.0 GPA

• Demonstrate financial need ($100,000 or lower adjusted growth family income)

• Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities

• Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity

• Be a US Citizen

Deadline:  February 15, 2026

ELIGIBILITY 

• Must be an unmarried military dependent child under the age of 23 and possess a valid USID card, must plan to pursue a 4-year bachelor's degree, minimum 3.0 GPA

Deadline:   February 11, 2026

ELIGIBILITY 

• Must be an immediate family member such as a child, grandchild or spouse of the an eligible dairy farm permit holder or employee.

Deadline:   March 6, 2026 

ELIGIBILITY 

• Current high school senior

• Be a dependent child of a Foreign Service employee who is an American Foreign Service Association member.  

• Have a minimum 3.25 GPA

• Demonstrate financial need.;

Deadline:   March 11, 2025 

ELIGIBILITY 

• The 2023 Student-View Scholarship Program is offering $12,000 worth of scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college, community/junior college or career school.
