Local Scholarships

Eligibility:   Must be a high school senior, and applicant/parent(s)/guardian(s) must have services through Fall River Electric

Eligibility:   This scholarship is for current 9th-12th graders

Eligibility:   This scholarship is designed to support youth in their post-high school education.  Students must live in Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, or Utah

Eligibility:  

• Children of county employees (county employees are those who are issued a paycheck by the county working 20 hours or more per week and the children and grandchildren of county elected officials (assessors, clerks, commissionser, coroners, prosecuting attorneys, sheriffs, and treasurers).  

• Recipients must attend a college, university or vocationa/technical school full-time for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Eligibility:   Must be a high school senior, 4H and/or FFA participation THREE OF THE LAST FIVE YEARS at the Eastern Idaho State Fair, minimum 3.0 GPA, have taken ACT or SAT

Eligibility:   Applicant must be a current Senior and live in 2nd District Masonic of Idaho.  This includes Idaho Falls, Rigby, Driggs, Victor, St. Anthoy and surrounding areas

Eligibility:   

• Eligible students must be attending or have attended Weber High School in Pleasant View, Utah or any high school located in the following Idaho counties:

  • Bingham

  • Bonneville

  • Butte

  • Jefferson

  • Madison

• They must also plan to attend an accredited post-secondary institution within the next two academic years and will seek a degree or certification in music – including, but not limited to, Music Education, Music Performance, Music Therapy, Music (BA), etc.

Eligibility:   Must be a member of an Idaho Farm Bureau Family for one year or higher of higher education at an institution of your choice.

Eligibility:   Outstanding service to others is the most important factor in determining and scholastic performance will be considered.  Must be a Senior in High School

Eligibility:   Student must have already applied to a college/university for admission in order to be eligible and must have proof of an SAT or ACT score

Eligibility:   Current high school senior, GPA of at least 3.5, use scholarship funds in the summer of fall of 2026, and attend a state accredited or licensed post-secondary school (any state)

Eligibility:   Current high school senior, parent, guardian, or student must be an active member of Fall River Electric Cooperative

Eligibility:  

• Must live in the Teton Regional Land Trust Service area. Counties/areas include:

  • Madison

  • Bonneville

  • Clark

  • Fremont

  • Jefferson

  • Teton, Idaho,

  • Alta, Wyoming

• Must show intention to pursue a major course of study in college or vocational school in environmental sciences, biology, ecology, environmental planning or policy, agriculture, or a related field

• All applicants must be a primary account holder with an active account in "good standing" and opened at least six months prior to applying

• A minimum GPA of 3.0

• Part-time employees and children of staff members are also eligible

• Service is a qualification

ELIGIBILITY 

• Purpose:  Several scholarships that are never posted, but students who turn in a Resume are the only students looked at for this award.

• Hgh School Senior graduating 2025

• GPA of 2.95 or higher 

• ACT score of 20 or higher OR SAT Score of 1100 or higher

• Plan to attend college or trade school within 3 years of graduating

• 400 + hour experience working in the potato industry

• Must write an essay (per application instructions)

• Scholarship-Your scholastic performance will be considered but does not weigh as heavily in the decision-making process as the service factor

• You must be a senior in High School and graduating in 2023

ELIGIBILITY 

• The student must be a sophomore or junior in high school – Fall Semester 2022.

• The student and or parent or guardian must be served by Fall River Rural Electric

Cooperative and the account number must be listed on the application.

• The student must write an essay on the subject: “You are in charge of the energy

efficiency program at your school. Describe ways you would recommend for your

school to use electricity more efficiently.” The essay should be at least one, and no

longer than two, double-spaced type written pages.

• Make sure your name, address, telephone number and that the Fall River Rural Electric

Cooperative member number appears on the essay.

• Applicants may be requested to appear at a Fall River area office for an interview

during the selection process to be scheduled during the month of May.

• Students must be available to attend the Youth Rally held in Caldwell, ID, July 10-15,

2023.
