*If your child has written TIC on top of his/her papers, this means Together In ClassCOMMUNICATION
If you need to communicate with me, email is best. I can always access my email even if I have a sub.
AGENDAS
This is your child’s assignment book and an easy way for us to communicate. It will go home every night with the assignments listed in it. Please review, add initials, and return daily. I will look for your initials the next
PURPLE FOLDER
Your child will have a purple take home folder. This will go home every day and should be returned the next morning. The left side will have homework that should “return to school” while the right side will have graded papers and notes from school that you should “keep at home.”
LUNCH MONEY
Please secure money/check in an envelope or baggie with your child’s name and my name on it. Your child will drop it in the white lunch bucket by the cafeteria door as he/she enters the front lobby.
DISMISSAL PROCEDURE
Your child will be on my dismissal list as either a bus rider, car rider, walker, or youth center child. This is how I will send your child home each day. If plans change, you MUST email me by noon. I will not rely on the child’s verbal instructions. If emailing, please wait for my reply, since there could be a substitute. It is for your child’s safety.
BIRTHDAYS
We would love to celebrate your child’s birthday! Feel free to send in treats! First, please check with me for any allergies and our class size. Due to allergens, only store-bought, pre-packaged, individually wrapped items with nutritional labels are acceptable. Treats will be passed out at lunch or end of the day. Non-food items such as pencils, erasers, stickers, etc. are always another great option.
