Nicki Young

Hello! My name is Nicki Young, and I teach 4th Grade ELA at Scott Elementary School. I was born in Okinawa, Japan on a Naval Air Base where my dad was stationed. I was able to move all around the country meeting new people and having experiences that I never would have if not for our semi-nomadic lifestyle. 

I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities with an Art History emphasis. I also earned my teaching certification and my Master’s Degree in Education. This is my 13th year teaching. 

I am so happy to be part of the Scott Elementary family! I am looking forward to getting to know parents and students.
