I have been teaching in Mascoutah since 2009. In those years, I have spent time at both Mascoutah High School as well as at the K-2 level at Scott Elementary School.
I am a graduate of Gibault Catholic High School in Waterloo, IL. I received by bachelor’s degree in special education from SIUE. I am from a family of six and grew up on a farm in Hecker, IL. Currently, I live in St. Charles, MO with my husband, Reggie, and our Shetland Sheepdogs, Copo & Hudson. Reading is my absolute favorite pastime. In our spare time, Mr. Neisler and I enjoy going to vintage car shows in our 1970 Chevy Nova, attending musicals at the Muny and Fox theatres, camping, biking, and cheering on all of the St. Louis sports teams!
Teaching is an absolute passion of mine and I am so excited to work with you and your child this year! Get ready because transitioning to adulthood is fun and full of adventures. Most importantly, it is my mission to help students develop the skills necessary to be independent adults and life-long learners!
