Students must have their Chromebooks charged every day. Any homework is expected by its due date. Students will need to check the Alpha Team Agenda online everyday for assignments. Parents and students may email me anytime with questions or concerns. A parent email or note is required by the office for any absences.
Homework may consist of questions, worksheets, reading, or doing research to create a project for the class. Expectations for completing work successfully will be discussed and modeled in class. Students will usually be given time to start their homework before class ends. It is important that students complete their assignments by the due date to avoid a 0 in the gradebook. Please check the Alpha Team agenda each night for the assignments. Materials needed will often be hyperlinked for easier access.
All students have a Google account. This includes Google Classroom where assignments are posted for digital completion and submission. Parents may ask their child to see what activities are posted in their Google Classroom using their school provided Chromebook, or by having the student login using their msd19.org account to any device that has access to the Chrome browser. This is the best way for your child to show you their progress.
