Virtual College Visits

Western Illinois University Army ROTC Illinois State Tuition Waiver Combine

The upcoming Illinois State Tuition Waiver Combine is being held by the Army ROTC Department at Western Illinois University. It is a great chance for a student to earn free tuition at one of the participating schools. The event will be held at Western Illinois University on May 1st, 20201 from 9:00am -1:30pm . Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO)

We know your students may not have had a chance to visit Southeast yet, and that's why we're giving them the opportunity to learn more about us and our admission process. We're offering daily virtual visits with our admission counselors.

Every Monday-Friday at 4 p.m., one of our counselors will be available to chat with students and their parents or guardians about Southeast. They'll be able to answer questions as well.

Indiana Tech

  • Virtual Explore IT: Designed for high school students and their parents, this event is perfect for those who are looking for more information on campus life, the application process, financial aid opportunities, IT’s signature degrees and more. Next session is happening on Saturday, March 13*.

  • Student-Led Virtual Tour: Students will receive a tour of our campus from a real Warrior.

  • Virtual Admissions Meeting: A great option for students who are serious about Tech, this meeting will give them a chance to ask questions and have a face-to-face with their admissions counselor.

We are also offering in-person visits every Monday through Friday if your students are looking to tour Tech’s campus in person.



Southwestern Illinois College

SPRING MEGA EVENT

Kansas State University, Missouri State University, University of Alabama, University of Kentucky, and University of Missouri-Columbia are teaming up to offer 4 MEGA visits for your students!

How it works: After registering, students will receive the log in information for the Zoom. Each visit will run from 6:15-7:00pm. We’ll give a brief welcome, then each University will speak for 5 minutes about important information, upcoming deadlines, scholarships, popular programs and more. After that, we’ll wrap up with a Kahoot game for a chance to win some MEGA prizes from our institutions!

Summer Programs

Gettysburg College is excited to offer several opportunities for high school juniors and sophomores to attend virtual academic camps over the summer months. Subjects include psychology, history, and creative writing. Please find information to share with your students about our academic camps below:

  • Virtual Camp Psych: Campers will get hands-on experiences that introduce them to research in psychology during this fun, challenging, and engaging introduction to the field.

  • Civil War Era Studies Virtual Camp: Campers will get to enjoy historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania while studying American Civil War History through unique learning experiences. Students will explore the circumstances leading to the war, investigate significant battles during the war, and explore the condition of the United States after the war.

  • Young Writers Virtual Workshop: Students gain an in-depth introduction to all four genres of creative writing: fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and writing for stage and screen.

University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis is announcing its Health Care Summer Immersion Program!

Due to the high demand last year, we have expanded our 2021 Summer Immersion Program and will offer two program sessions. Each session will include a seven-day, six-night residential program. The Program will provide high school students the opportunity to explore health care careers while also building a foundation for their transition to college life.


Students who participate in the program will:

Explore opportunities in health care, including pharmacy and research. Engage in hands-on, college-level academic and lab experiences, such as anatomy labs, DNA sampling, case studies and pharmacy compounding. Experience an exclusive unique learning opportunity with our biology faculty at the St. Louis Zoo, one of the nation’s top zoo. Interact with faculty and health care professionals at the top of their field. Participate in group leadership activities. Develop lasting relationships with peers who have diverse academic and social interests. Students will stay in the College’s residence hall, attend engaging learning experiences, participate in daily evening activities experiencing what life is like on a college campus in the heart of bustling city while developing skills in leadership, networking and etiquette.


Health Care Summer Immersion Program

Session I: June 6-11, 2021

Session II: July 25 - 31, 2021

$850

$800 before March 1

$750 for returning participants


This registration fee is all-inclusive and covers housing, meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), program materials, lab equipment and activity expenses.

Only 24 students will be selected to attend each session. Priority will be given to students entering their junior or senior years who have at least a 3.0 GPA.

Students who may be interested, can learn more about the program and apply by visiting uhsp.edu/summer/immersion.

Additionally, know that we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic. If there are restrictions or changes which prevent us from holding the program on campus, all students selected for the program will receive a full refund.
