Each program will offer a different summer enrichment experience. Programs will be led by faculty from the Montessori School of Anderson, Anderson District Two, or MSA parents. Camp Information
No school lunches will be served during the summer camps. All children will need a lunchbox Monday through Thursday. All food items must be nut-free. Pizza lunch will be available to order on Fridays. A morning snack will be provided for all, and an afternoon snack will be provided for those staying for extended day.
For programs that involve outside activities, please send your child to campus with sunscreen applied. Sunscreen can be re-applied in the afternoons if you have provided a bottle of sunscreen that may be kept on campus and you have completed and submitted a non-prescription medicine form (located on our website, msasc.org, on the Nurse Resources page). Please label the sunscreen with your child’s name.

Looking for a summer camp that blends outdoor exploration, garden creativity, and water fun? Look no further than Outdoor Adventures! Our camp is designed for kids who are eager to be outdoors to experience the beauty of nature, learn about gardening, cook up some delicious items using fresh ingredients right from the garden, and play in the water.
Outdoor Adventures is a designed for students with a passion for nature, food, and fun. This camp offers a unique blend of outdoor exploration, hands-on gardening experiences, culinary adventures, and refreshing water activities. Campers will get their hands dirty as they plant, water, and nurture a variety of plants. We will discuss the growth cycle of plants, teaching them how to care for their garden and understand the natural world around them. But the fun doesn’t stop there! We believe in the power of good food, so campers will also learn to harvest the produce and turn it into delicious, healthy snacks or meals. And what's a summer camp without some water fun? After working in the garden, campers will cool off with a variety of water activities, from sprinkler games to water balloon tosses. These activities are perfect for hot summer days and are designed to encourage teamwork, active play, and pure joy.
We hope they’ll leave each day with a smile on their face and a deeper appreciation for the natural world around them.
June 2-6
Get ready to turn up the heat in the kitchen! This camp puts YOU in charge as we hand over the wooden spoons and let you bring recipes to life. Every day, campers will prepare a delicious dish to share with their family, showcasing their newfound culinary skills. The week is packed with kitchen safety lessons, helpful tips and tricks, and even some fun food-related crafts! This is the cooking adventure you won’t want to miss—Bon Appétit!

Do you want to help your child develop a sense of gratitude and cultivate inner peace while exploring their artistic side? Artful Gratitude camp offers a unique blend of mindfulness practices and creative expression. Each morning, we'll begin with gentle yoga and calming meditations, setting a positive tone for the day. Through engaging activities and mindful games, campers will learn to appreciate the world around them and discover the power of gratitude.
Our core project will be the creation of personalized Visual Arts Gratitude Journals. Campers will hand-make their journals, designing their own covers and learning various bookbinding techniques. Throughout the week, they will fill their journals with artwork, photos, writings, and mementos inspired by nature, music, quotes, and personal experiences. We'll explore a variety of art mediums, including watercolor painting, drawing, collage, and more, learning new techniques and expressing our unique perspectives.
This camp is more than just arts and crafts; it's an opportunity for children to connect with themselves, express their emotions, and cultivate a lifelong practice of gratitude. Hear ye, brave adventurers! Are you ready to delve into the world of the Mouse Guard, where courage and cunning are the keys to survival? Join us this summer for an unforgettable role-playing game (RPG) experience!
Unleash your inner hero! In the Mouse Guard summer camp, you'll step into the paws of a brave Guard mouse, protecting the territories and citizens of the Mouse Territories. You'll face perilous journeys, cunning weasels, and the harsh elements as you work together with your fellow mice to uphold the Guard's motto: "We who are small in stature must be great of heart."
More than just a game: This isn't just your average RPG camp! We'll bring the world of Mouse Guard to life through creative expression.
Role-Playing Adventures: Immerse yourself in thrilling campaigns, making decisions that will shape the fate of your patrol and the Mouse Territories. Develop your character's unique skills, personality, and backstory as you navigate the challenges that lie ahead.
Artistic Expression: Bring your character to life on paper! You'll have the opportunity to draw and write about your Guard mouse, illustrating their adventures, equipment, and the world around them. Develop your artistic skills while deepening your connection to your character.
Fiber Arts Magic: We'll also be exploring the world of fiber arts! Learn basic techniques and use your newfound skills to create something inspired by your Mouse Guard adventures. Discover Your Inner Performer
Stage Explorers: Montessori Musical Theatre is a transformative summer experience designed to inspire, educate, and empower young performers. Our comprehensive program combines professional instruction, creative exploration, and collaborative learning to help children develop confidence, artistic skills, and a lifelong love of musical theatre.
What We Offer
Throughout the weeklong camp, participants will engage in dynamic workshops led by experienced theatre professionals. Campers will learn essential skills including vocal training, dance choreography, character development, stage movement, and performance techniques. Daily activities include group rehearsals, individual coaching, costume design, and behind-the-scenes theatre crafts.
The Grand Finale
The camp culminates in a spectacular musical theatre production where every camper takes the stage. Family and friends will be invited to watch our young performers showcase their newly acquired talents in a professionally staged performance, celebrating creativity, teamwork, and artistic growth.

Welcome to Wild Math & Science Explorers Camp, where learning is an adventure! This summer, we're inviting elementary and middle school students to embark on a thrilling journey into the intersection of animal science and mathematics. Our unique camp experience blends the excitement of discovering the animal kingdom with engaging activities that reinforce and expand math and science concepts.
At Wild Math & Science Explorers, campers won't just learn about animals; they'll experience them. Through interactive workshops, campers will have the opportunity to observe animal behavior, learn about different species and their habitats, and even participate in fun science experiments. We'll explore how animals use math in their daily lives, from calculating distances during migration to understanding the geometry of their habitats. Science experiments will bring concepts to life, as campers investigate animal adaptations, explore food chains, and discover the fascinating world of animal biology.
We believe that learning should be hands-on and engaging, which is why our camp is filled with exciting activities, games, and projects.
