Elementary

Each program will offer a different summer enrichment experience. Programs will be led by faculty from the Montessori School of Anderson and Anderson District Two. Outdoor Exploration

Facilitator: Jenna Patch

May 28-31, 8:30am-3:30pm

Cost: $175 ($200 for all-day childcare)

Description: We will explore the outdoors with hands-on gardening; learn to harvest, cook, & eat from the garden; and create nature-themed crafts. A majority of the time will be spent outdoors so we will have some water based play while also making sure the plants are getting watered.


Engineering with Minecraft

Facilitators: Beth Dabney & Matt Dabney

June 3-7, 8:30am-3:30pm

Cost: $215 ($250 for all-day childcare)

Description: Join us for an exciting week of Minecraft packed with exploration, mining, building, and coding! Teamwork, engineering, and endless possibilities await as campers unleash their creativity while working collaboratively with their peers.


Creations with Minecraft & More

Facilitators: Beth Dabney & Matt Dabney

June 10-14, 8:30am-3:30pm

Cost: $215 ($250 for all-day childcare)

Description: Spend the week with us crafting both in and outside of Minecraft! Beyond the blocks, dive into exciting STEM activities, unleash your inner artist, and make new friends who share your passions. Join us for a week of unforgettable adventures and discover the infinite possibilities that lie within! 


Evolution of Gaming 

Facilitator: Beth Dabney & Matt Dabney

June 17-21, 8:30-3:30

Cost: $215 ($250 for all-day childcare)

Description: Dive into the fascinating world of games: from the earliest board and tabletop games to pixelated pioneers to the immersive worlds of today! ️This camp takes you on a journey through game history, exploring iconic classics, uncovering design secrets, and creating your own pixelated masterpieces. Level up your coding skills, unleash your creativity, and build lifelong friendships with fellow game enthusiasts. This week-long adventure will leave you re-imagining the future of gaming – both on and off the screen! 


Chef-In-Training

Facilitator: Ginny Burt 

June 24-28, 8:30am-1:00pm (includes extended care until 3:30)

Cost: $215 ($250 for all-day childcare)

Description: The kitchen is getting hot! We hand the wooden spoons over to YOU to read the recipes and create some show-stopping meals. Each day campers will prepare a dish to bring and share with the rest of the family. The week will also be filled with kitchen safety, tips and tricks in the kitchen, and lots of crafts. This is the camp you do not want to miss - Fun Appetit! 


Camp Jurassic

Facilitator: Katelyn Patterson

July 8-12, 8:30am-3:30pm

Cost: $215 ($250 for all-day childcare)

Description: Do you have a camper who is obsessed with all things dinosaurs?! We will let your camper explore the world of dinosaurs! We will have fossil making as well as a fossil dig, themed crafts and snacks, and we’ll finish the week with a dinosaur-themed movie party. This week will be jam packed with hands-on science, math, and literacy activities all with a dinosaur theme.


Space Expedition

Facilitator: Katelyn Patterson

July 15-19, 8:30am-3:30pm

Cost: $215 ($250 for all-day childcare)

Description: Join us for a week that is out of this world! We will explore planets and galaxies with themed crafts such as backyard bottle rockets, do-it-yourself moon sand, galaxy jars, and more. This week will be full of STEAM activities to encourage learning and even a VR experience on the International Space Station. We will end our week with some space-themed treats and a movie.


Fun on the Farm

Facilitator: Tiffany Wilmoth

June 22-26, 8:30-3:30

Cost: $215 ($250 for all-day childcare)

Description: Is your learner interested in animals? This week we will explore farm animals and what they bring to us! Dairy, fibers, eggs, and more! We will make some delicious treats and themed crafts, learn about animals and their care, and visit a local farm. This week will include lessons in all STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) components.


Camp Information

No lunches will be served during the summer camps. All children will need a lunchbox Monday through Thursday. All food items must be nut-free. Pizza lunch will be available to order on Fridays. A morning and afternoon snack will be provided. 

For programs that involve outside activities, please send your child to campus with sunscreen applied. Sunscreen can be re-applied in the afternoons if you have provided a bottle of sunscreen that may be kept on campus and you have completed and submitted a non-prescription medicine form (located on our website, msasc.org, on the Nurse Resources page). Please label the sunscreen with your child’s name.
