Student Independent Learning Opportunities are student initiated independent study projects. They are semester or year-long learning experiences designed to help students explore areas of interest and potential career fields, and almost always include opportunities to collaborate with community members as well as a public share at the end. Examples include studying small business development, screenprinting, fashion merchandising, coding, stage directing, American Sign Language, and physical therapy - but the options are limitless.Â
