April 19,2025 at Crowley’s Ridge State Park during the Crowley’s Ridge Amateur Radio Club Swapfest on the ridge. KK4IOH organized and lead an Amateur Radio Direction Finding Exercise. This was coordinated using the 146.61 repeater and the entire CRARC link system.
On April 18,2025 the MSAC team - N5ALN and KK4IOH assisted NI5A and K5TW with restoration of PL tone access for the W5JBR 146.610 repeater in Jonesboro. This modification greatly reduces interference to the CRARC link system that occurs especially during tropo ducting events. Accessing 146.610 now requires a 107.2 PL tone.
April 2025 the MSAC team helped Delta Amateur Radio Club with a project to bring Skywarn Nets back to the original home on the 146.820 repeater.
March 2025 the MSAC team helped with relocation of the 444.475 DMR repeater to Bono where it is co-located with the 146.610 repeater.
February 2025 the MSAC team worked with HamWAN Memphis Metro to deploy a new Meshtatic node in East Memphis.
January 2025 The MSAC team worked to connect Forrest City to the link system. This repeater provides vital coverage for St Francis County and along I40 from Brinkley well into Crittenden County.
January 2025 the MSAC team helped Tri-State Repeater association with upgrades to the 224.840 and 444.775 repeaters in Memphis.
442.150 FM and 444.625 DMR Repeaters were deployed to their new home in Marion AR and with much improved coverage of Crittenden County.
New folded dipole antennas and low loss heliax feed line installed in preparation for the move of 442.150 and 444.625 DMR machines and the redeployment and update to 147.150 machines in Marion AR.
