About Us

Our Mission is to facilitate scientific discussions in our department.

Founded in December 2019, we started as a group of grade 11s and 12s who wished to have more chance to discuss science outside of class. We therefore started to convene weekly to discuss topics in science (ranging from natural to human sciences). We also had people from other grades who joined our discussions (now called weekly meetups), but we started to feel the need to reach out to more people to spread our spirit.

As an attempt to engage more people in discussing science, we expanded our society to include those throughout the department who share the same value with us. Together we aspire ourselves to host events to help people explore science. Our goal is to provide fun, interesting, and insightful opportunities for people to find or build on their interest of science in their most comfortable way.
