Subject groups should develop a dynamic and flexible list of relevant ATL skills. Ideally, as students progress through the program, they will encounter those same skills in each year of the subject. "[T]he complexity of the use of these skills ... will increase from year to year. The complexity of the ATL Skill and what a student will need to show in order to be proficient will be defined by the learning experiences and the summative assessment tasks in the unit."
