Google Cardboard is here!! I have two classroom sets (15 VR goggles). These have been used from French Class to Science to Ag! Look me up and we can set up a time to collaborate or you can just borrow them. I highly recommend using spotters for this activity though. Not all students should be on goggles at once.
This Belkin iPad stand is for displaying content on a Smartboard or other projection screen in the classroom setting. It is meant to take the place of a document camera and can be used in conjunction with Apple TV or hard wired. I have two and access to two Apple TV's.
This is a Padcaster! It is a professional grade camera lense for an iPad that we can use to transform your video projects. This is the ideal set-up for our Green Screen Room in our Maker-Space at the High School and now at Lincoln Trail. It also comes with an attachable teleprompter. Students can have their lines scrolling and projecting towards them so that they don't have to create posters or memorize long speeches. That is, unless you want them to. This is professional grade equipment, so it is be better suited for some classrooms rather than others. Ours does not have the hand-held microphone, but we have a shotgun microphone like the one in this picture.
Lauren Ochs, the High School Librarian, and I won an ICE (Illinois Computing Educators) Grant last Fall for a 3D Printer and plenty of spools. If you have a small project or item that you would like to collaborate with me on, just let me know. The machine will stay in the High School Maker Space, but you can send me your file or speak to me about your project or idea and we'll see how we can make it work for you.
