If you've opened this page then you actually may want to know a little about me. This is my family. If you want to know about me, you need to know about my family. For me, faith and family come first, in that order. In all that I do during the day, all the cool collaborations, meeting with vendors, arranging and administering accounts for teachers and learning and speaking at conferences, these all pale in comparison to seeing my kids' smile at me. When I see them at the end of the day and we sit down for dinner as a family, I'm me, I'm home, I'm happy. Most of the time they don't even complain about what we're having....most of the time. My wife and I have made our home here in Mahomet, having settled here nine years ago, because of our time at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign getting our Master's degrees. She is the Illinois First Year Experience Coordinator for the College of Engineering (yes, we are both coordinators). We have two children. Emma is nine and in fourth grade this year. Elijah is seven and in first grade. I have been involved in education for over a decade now. In that time, I have been a substitute teacher, classroom aide, private school teacher, public school teacher, interim principal and now district administrator. I have a fierce and formidable love for education. We are also active members at our church, Windsor Road Christian Church, serving on the Global Outreach Team. This picture on the left was taken in Colorado on a vacation with my folks, in May 2016. We love to travel and eat as well. Did I mention that? See this gorgeous world and eat good food. All together, that pretty much sums me up.
