Hello, I am Lisa Ayers, a Physical Education teacher and head varsity softball coach at M-SHS. I am beginning my 9th year of teaching and my 5th year at M-S. This will be my 11th year as a coach, which has included volleyball, basketball, and softball. I graduated with an education degree from Monmouth College and am currently pursuing a masters degree in Educational Leadership at Eastern Illinois University. I am very passionate about teaching, and I am excited to begin the school year and teach your child(ren) the importance of physical activity. • Hello, this is Mr. Garth and I am one of the Physical Education teachers at the High School. This is my 3rd year teaching PE and 2nd in the district. I completed my Bachelor's of Science degree in Kinesiology at the University of Illinois in December 2016. I worked at Jefferson Middle School in Champaign before MSHS. I have coached boys basketball at Mahomet-Seymour for the last 4 years. Last year was also my first year as varsity assistant girls softball coach. Hello, this is Mr. Brian Kusnerick and I am one of the Physical Education teachers at the High School. This is now my 6^th year teaching PE and 4th in the district. I finished my undergrad at the University of Illinois in May of 2014, and performed my student teaching at Mahomet-Seymour High School and Lincoln Trail Elementary School in the spring of 2014. Taught my first 2 years after graduation in Newton, IL and then began here in Mahomet in 2016-2017. I also am an assistant girls’ basketball coach here at the high school and the 8^th grade girls’ basketball coach at the junior high.
