Polar GoFit is the heart rate program used on a daily basis in Physical Education. Student's heart data can be accessed from each unit by logging into their individualized account. Students should have their login information, but contact the teacher if you are having trouble logging in.
Below are two videos demonstrating the effectiveness of using Polar Heart Rate technology in the Physical Education classroom. Our Heart Rate video on the right was made by Mr. Anderson, Nate Strigotte, and Andrew Loutrel. We want to thank them for their time commitment on such an awesome video. Check out the videos to get a better understanding of heart rate inclusion in PE.
Tracking individual Resting Heart Rates can be a good determinant of overall health and fitness. A lower or decreased Resting Heart Rate is an indicator of improved cardiovascular health, as well a reduced risk of heart disease. To the right you will find the differences in Resting Heart Rate for students from Fall 2018 to the Spring 2019 semester.
