First, Mrs. Hunter does a tremendous job sending out alerts and  reminders about schoolwide and district events through Skyward. Please make note of the information she sends out on Skyward. It's important and I will try not duplicate her information in my emails to you. 

I will use group emails through Skyward as well as Remind for short, quick text reminders. Please click here to sign up for these as soon as possible. 

We are a peanut and nut free classroom and lunchroom. Please remind your child not to share their food from home with peers.  

Snack - You may bring your own healthy snack each day...by healthy I mean no chips, pop, high-sugar foods, and messy orange finger making snacks(even though those are MY abosulute favorite). We have a late lunch in 5th grade. We don't eat lunch until 12:30. Please eat a good breakfast each day. The cafeteria is open at 7:45 if you want to eat breakfast at school. 

Birthday Treats - Due to increased risk of allergies. It is the policy at LT that we do NOT allow parent/kids to bring in birthday treats. We WILL have a couple of Dominoes pizza parties in 5E as the year progresses. I will send information and ask for donations from each family to help cover the cost.  

Here are some items that are very helpful throughout the year:

- Paper towels...(our school paper towels have very little absorbency)

- Books your child is finished reading (this adds to the classroom library)
