 [設校緣起]：

History

With economic and population boom, and good communications, as well as the practice of the policy of narrowing down schools and decreasing students' number in class, Taoyuan County Government permitted the establishment of Guang Ming Junior High School in 1996.

School Features and Program Highlights

＊There are drinking water facilities, telephones, and communication teaching systems in each classroom. This is suitable for independent management for each class.

＊Developing scientific education will be a weight-bearing point for our school. Moreover, we will lay particular stress on teaching facilities.

＊Establish ecological garden for teaching, we will breed fire worms, butterflies and a variety of insects included, let the campus filled with the natural sounds of the cry of insects and birds.

＊Have all graduates learn at least one skill within three years, and acquire minimum academic achievement.

＊To emphasize scientific education, and strive for being an exhibit place of National Science Hall.
