Title One: Entrance and Exit Criteria
Criteria for Student Selection
Children are selected to participate in the Title I Program by using the following
information:
1. Student performance on state assessments
2. Student performance on diagnostic assessments
3. Student performance on district and classroom assessments
4. Teacher recommendation
The Response to Intervention Team uses multiple assessment measures to
determine which students benefit from Title One services. Students exit from
the program once they demonstrate grade level proficiency on classroom
assessments and a minimum of 25% on district wide diagnostic assessments.
