If we are to offer an education that truly prepares our learners for the unknown future, as educators, we must constantly consider how we can change from the ‘sage on the stage’ to the ‘guide on the side’. At the same time, we must promote genuine rigour, engagement, creativity, and essential 21st Century skills, to prepare our learners for jobs that may not yet even exist.
My passion is in exploring various ways that the suite of Google Apps can change (and have changed) the way students - and educators - think about learning. Since first discovering GSuite for Education in 2011, I have found that they can open up endless possibilities for personalised learning, feedback, collaboration, and creative and authentic learning experiences.
