Zoom is an incredible online video-chat platform. It is very simple to use and easy to figure out.

How to Join: To join a meeting, click on the join link provided on the scheduled date and time. The links are provided on this website here for each individual cafe. Make sure to click the right link for the cafe you are signed up for at the right time. When you click the link, you will be transported to the live Zoom meeting where we will be holding our climate cafe! It is recommended that you are not signed in to a school email account when you click the link. Sign into a personal email account for better audio quality!

When you Join: Make sure your camera and microphone are enabled so we can see and hear you! If something isn't working, you can exit the meeting and log on again or use the chat feature to communicate a problem to us.

If Zoom is not working for you when you try to join a cafe, you can dial in to a meeting with a telephone to hear but not see the meeting. This is not ideal, but better than not being able to get in at all! To dial in, call (408) 638-0968 . You will be prompted to enter in the meeting ID, which is located on the events page from this website by the link for each event. Press # to skip entering an individual ID. Select your audio options.
