Online Dictionaries: I recommend using SpanishDict and WordReference. These are like using a book dictionary where you look up one word at a time, unlike translators which do too much language work for the students and amount to plagiarism. When students use translators, I cannot assess the work as their own and therefore cannot give them credit for the assignment. Trust me, I will know!

Online Conjugators: I recommend using SpanishDict and Conjuguemos for online verb conjugation help. Again, do not simply use a translator for chunks of text. Often, it doesn't end up making sense in the other language anyways and it doesn't help the students understand how verbs work (subject and tense, etc.).

Online Games and Activities: Conjuguemos and Duolingo both have games and activities you can do online. I will ask my students to create a Duolingo account for some independent Spanish practice and learning, and to send me updates of what they are working on. Especially with the quarter system, there will be large gaps of time between language courses and I hope they will continue during these breaks.
