This is it! You made it to your last year of high school! Congratulations. But don’t relax just yet. It’s important that you finish strong without giving in to senioritis. What will come next for you? 4-year university? Community college? Vocational school? Military? Workforce? If you are continuing your education in any way, you should fill out your FAFSA, Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Check the google calendar as there is Financial Aid Assistance scheduled.

Deadlines - Each school will have their own application and scholarship deadlines. Create a spreadsheet and keep track of them all. 

Apply for Scholarships -  ALL of the scholarship opportunities that MHS receives are put in Naviance. Once logged in, click on the Colleges Tab, find the Scholarships & Money section and click on Scholarship List. These are great opportunities as they tend to be local and receive a small applicant pool.
