ASB GOAL:

As co-directors of ASB Directors, our goal is to strengthen school morale and spirit while fostering a safe, welcoming school environment where every student feels seen, valued, and included. We want to bring our campus together through meaningful events, traditions, and opportunities that celebrate who we are as a community. Whether it’s through rallies, service projects, or simply showing up for one another, we are dedicated to creating a positive and unified school culture—one where every student feels proud to call this place home.

Ms. Keane:   Hi! My name is Kate Keane! I have been teaching at MHS for 7 years as an Education Specialist. I have taught Math and Science during those 7 years, but this year I branched out and added co-director of ASB to the list! It has been such an awesome experience to dive into school spirit and experience Moorpark High School from another perspective! I am really enjoying my time giving back to the school that ultimately made me who I am - I am an Alumni of MHS class of 2012! Once a Musketeer, always a Musketeer!

Ms Payan:   My name is Amanda Payan, and I’m a 27-year-old teacher at Moorpark High School, where I’ve taught for the past five years. My wife and I are proud to be part of this district and love giving back to our community through education and student support. I’m passionate about teaching and especially enjoy co-directing our ASB program, where I get to help students grow as leaders and make our school a more spirited, connected place.
