The Newline Interactive Board is a wall-mounted display screen with touch capability. It functions as an independent device, offering features such as whiteboarding, web access, and more. Additionally, Macbooks and Chromebooks can be connected to a USB-C port on the front of the board, enabling a touchscreen display of the Chromebook content. The board also supports wireless casting via the built-in Display Note software.
YouTube Playlist
The playlist features educational videos or product demonstrations that showcase the capabilities and features of the Newline Interactive Q Pro Series. The videos demonstrate how the board can be used for interactive lessons, presentations, or collaborative activities.
The Newline board serves as a versatile stand-alone device for sharing and creating content. Imagine it as a large tablet. You can access browsers and apps just as you would on a MacBook or Chromebook, directly from the Newline board.
Once logged into your profile on the board, you can access your Google account. This enables direct access to your slides, class assignments, and other platforms like Canvas, Google Workspace for Education, and ClassLink.
You can connect your device directly to your Newline board using the provided USB-C cable, enabling touchback functionality. This allows you to interact with the displayed content on the board via touch. Additionally, sound is automatically shared when connecting your MacBook or Chromebook directly.
It's important to note that this option requires using the USB-C cable provided in your box, as other cables may not meet the required quality standards for touchback functionality.
When connected directly, the Newline board functions as a second monitor. You can choose to mirror or extend your display through your MacBook's settings (System Preferences > Displays). If you opt to extend your display, adjusting the display size is recommended for optimal viewing.
