There are two opportunities to be assessed in 2026.
Term 2, Week 4, Monday, May 18th
Term 3, Week 8, Monday, September 16th
In 2024 passing the Literacy and Numeracy Unit Standards became a co-requiste to gaining a NCEA qualification. Reading and Writing are worth 5 credits each, while Numeracy is worth 10 credits. These are digital assessments.

Although for 2026 these credits can be gained by a select number of Achievement Standards at L1/2/3, if these credits count towards Literacy or Numeracy they will NOT be counted towards your 60 credit total to pass.
