Purchasing the Ohio Science Explorers
The Ohio Science Explorers curriculum is made available to districts at a very reasonable cost. The cost is all-inclusive and straight forward.
COST: The cost is $300 per teacher, per grade level.
ONE TIME COST: Once purchased, the teacher has access to their respective grade level units and all curriculum resources in the units FOREVER without any renewals!
HOW TO PURCHASE: Complete the Registration Form with the require information and PO # and return the completed form to dshellhaas@mresc.org. On-demand, Online Teacher Support
Along with access to the grade level units, each license purchase provides the teacher access to the Ohio Science Explorers Support website. This site has informative videos over each unit which explains the content of each unit and discusses the key things that teachers must know about the lessons of the unit.
The site also has printable versions of the unit overviews and other printable pages if teachers want to create a binder for each unit.
About the Author
About the Author
This curriculum has been developed by Dave Shellhaas, science specialist, at the Midwest Regional ESC. Dave has been a science educator for over 30 years and a Nationally Board Certified Teacher. He has also served on the state science standards writing teams in various capacities which gives him intimate knowledge of the Ohio Science Learning Standards.
Dave has used his experience and knowledge to develop many instructional resources over the years, as well as in developing the Ohio Science Explorers curriculum.
