November is dedicated to remembering, honoring, and celebrating Native Americans. During this month and throughout the year, take time to read a variety of resources to learn about and support Native individuals and communities with mutual respect, empathy, and with an approach that is responsive and inclusive of the communities’ needs and solutions.

Starting on Tuesday, November 11, and for that week only,  I will be running a library magazine reading challenge. Every student who participates will get a cool piece of library swag, AND your name will automatically be entered into a raffle for the grand prize -- a bottle of Solon Spice (value $7)! The winning name will be drawn at 2:45 p.m. on Friday, so don't delay!

How to play:

• Select a magazine from the rack by my desk.

• Read an article.

• Tell me something interesting about the article.
