Promoting Quality Peer Feedback

Goal statement

Teacher Goal Development: Eli Rosenberg

Other reflections on the year

  • second "first year" social studies curriculum
  • As tech team member, delivered high-quality, responsive professional development, and sought teacher input and feedback
  • coached a very well attended robotics program
  • supported other teachers as they implemented history day, sharing resources, tools, materials...
  • mentored a new teacher weekly, observed him twice, gave feedback, supported colleagues professionally
  • integrated new tech tools (ongoing change!) without going overboard
  • got a grant for microelectronics, and integrated them into cross-team SST learning opportunities (yay!) and presented these successes to VASE
  • Taught a National Board Certification cohort support class, supporting four teachers (two MRPS) as they submitted portfolios
  • saw the need and chaired weekly science meetings to support common assessments, directly resulting in improved science instruction and more consistent activities across teams (plus it was fun)
  • played a key role in transitioning our school to NGSS-based science curriculum
  • developed strong relations with students
  • personal health challenge!

To improve:

  • PLP practices

  • revise social studies global year:
    • proficiencies
    • integrate tech better
    • more reflection
    • personalization
