About Us
OUR PURPOSE & MISSION
The MPS Building Committee is a group tasked with overseeing the planning and execution of school facility improvements in the town. Comprised of community members and town and school officials, the Committee is aligned with the RIDE School Construction Regulations. Its primary mission is to ensure that all Middletown school facilities are not only healthy, safe and sustainable, but also supportive of educational programs and conducive to academic excellence. By focusing on these objectives, the Committee aims to bring school facilities into full compliance with Federal, State, and Local requirements, positioning the town to qualify for significant state reimbursement through RIDE's Necessity of School Construction process.
