On-Site Food Pantry
Please contact your student's school counselor if your family is in need of resources from our food pantry. We would love to help schedule a pick-up time for you, or can send resources home with your student. If transportation is a challenge, we are also able to shop the pantry for you and do a home visit to drop it off.
Resources we can provide include:
Non-perishables (baby food, rice, beans, canned goods, beverages, cereal, nutrition bars, snacks, cookies, etc.)
Apparel (backpacks, clothes, shoes, winter jackets)
Personal care items (wipes, soap, shampoo/conditioner, etc).
It is extremely important to have open and frequent conversations with your student about their technology and social media use. Frequent and/or inappropriate technology use can lead to poor self-image, peer conflicts, anxiety and depression.
Please reach out to your students teacher directly to inquire about extra help options if they are struggling with the learning material. Additionally, check out these online resources to help support their learning both during the school year and over school vacations:
Khan Academy - Educational videos and practice tests on all subjects, adaptive to your students grade level.
BetterLesson - Thousands of teacher submitted and tested lessons for grade K-12 aligned with Common Core standards. Registration is free.
Scratch - Students can learn to code through creative animations.
Code.org - A puzzle-based curriculum in computer science for all ages.
Math Games - Math games for grades K-8.
