Throughout history, women and their stories have been neglected despite their significance. It is time to turn the page and create a history that is "her-story." It is vital to share experiences and accomplishments of women of all ages and during various historical times in order to help society grow into one that benefits all equally. Without women, half of the population would not exist, showing exactly how much of an impact they have on society. Women offer a unique perspective due to the slightly different chemical composition of their brains and the individuality of each person, allowing each women's story to be original. The world needs to hear every woman's tale, listening to every word with respect and an open-mind. Through this TEDx Talk, the goal is that every women, young or old, will take value from hearing the speakers present and feel the inspiration that all of these women radiate.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDx[name], where x = independently organized TED event.
