That's what this site boils down to. I have assembled a collection of resources designed to support our students, families and staff as they navigate an ever-changing, complex world. Safety doesn't happen by accident. It happens when we are aware and equipped with resources to make Informed decisions.

Keep Them Safe Adult Summer Reading Challenge
Our children’s safety online is more important than ever. The digital world brings opportunities for learning, connection, and growth—but also risks that many of us never imagined when we were growing up.
That’s why I've created the Keep. Them. Safe. Adult Summer Reading Challenge—an opportunity for adults to engage with critical resources on online safety.
This challenge is not about reading for leisure—it’s about learning to protect our kids. This curated website includes articles, videos, conversation starters, and tools covering topics like sextortion, sex trafficking, sexting, online gaming dangers, AI in education, and terror networks that target youth.
However, this site is not for children. There is far too much here for adults to understand and handle, let alone kids. It was created exclusively for parents, guardians, caregivers, and educators to equip themselves with the knowledge necessary to guide and protect young people in an increasingly dangerous online world.
I invite you to spend time this summer engaging with these resources—learning, watching, reading, and talking. And in September, submit a brief reflection on what you discovered. In return, you’ll receive a Keep. Them. Safe. keychain, a small but meaningful symbol of our collective commitment to safeguarding the next generation.
Please feel free to share this initiative in your networks, but do not share the site with children. This is for adults to learn, so they can be fully prepared to have these conversations and make informed decisions for their families.
Our kids are smart. We must be smarter.

Though some of the resources are dated, it's pretty scary how things have only gotten worse. This questionairre helps determine your risk level.
Awareness greatly reduces the risk of becoming a victim of a cyber-crime or digital exploitation.
