In 5th grade, we will not be using reading logs. Nightly reading homework is to read, but our accountability for that reading won't be happening in the form of a reading log. Each week, we will talk about the books they are reading. Students will have a chance to share what is happening on their book and give suggestions to other students in their class.

When they finish a book, they will be keeping track of their reading log in Biblionasium, a great website for tracking books and given recommendations. Students will be given more specific directions at school.

Throughout the school year, we will set goals based on their reading skills and find ways to hold each other accountable for those goals.
