My goal as your child's reading teacher is to help them develop their reading skills and love for reading in order to be lifelong readers.

The best way to accomplish this goal is to get kids reading! I am excited to use many different ways to introduce students to good literature. Each week we will do book talks, first page Fridays, Close reads and skill practice in our curriculum Wonders and so much more!

What can you do at home? Encourage your child to each EVERY day! Bring them to the library to find books about things they are interested in. Set aside time for everyone in the home to read. Read a book together!
