Our State Song, 'Beautiful Nebraska' was written by a refugee from Russia who was inspired by his surroundings when he came to Nebraska. Memorize the words (lyrics) through these beautiful images in the video.
The All-Star Fourth Graders went on a Virtual Tour of Nebraska. Among other sights, they toured the Art Mosaics in the Capital Building and Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska. Grades K-5 will click the link for visual, musical and audio experience. Use your multiple intelligences to learn and memorize our State Song!

Can you do a cool dance, do a handstand, tell jokes, do a magic trick, karate forms, balance a basketball on your finger? Whatever your talent is, share it with us! Be sure to add music to your talent act! Record your 30 seconds to 1 minute Variety Show act, and your act may be added to our live Variety/Talent show in May 17, 2024.
1) Practice/rehearse your Variety Show Act /Talent Act!
2) Record yourself or have a parent record you doing your talent act. You may share your act in person, too.
3) Submit or send in your video recorded Variety/ Talent act to lsmcconnell@mpsomaha.org to be entered and considered for our up-coming Ackerman Variety Talent Show (Hurry! Variety Show in May 2024)
