Digital Talent Show audition (for our Variety/Talent Show May 17, 2024)
Calling all All-Stars! Got talent? We know you do!
(Kindergarten through Fifth Grade All-Star Kids!)
Can you do a cool dance, do a handstand, tell jokes, do a magic trick, karate forms, balance a basketball on your finger? Whatever your talent is, share it with us! Be sure to add music to your talent act! Record your 30 seconds to 1 minute Variety Show act, and it may be considered for our Variety/Talent show live on May 17, 2024.
1) Practice/rehearse your Variety Show Act /Talent Act!
2) Record yourself or have a parent record you doing your talent act. Share act in person.
3) Submit or send in your video recorded Variety/ Talent act to lsmcconnell@mpsomaha.org to be entered and considered for our up-coming live Variety Talent Show (Hurry! Variety Show will be live on May 2024)
We will choose our favorite ones to add to our May iMovie Variety Show link! Get your Act Together now!!

Recognizing our Veterans Day Loved Ones and Heroes!
Send in your picture collages, photos, voice recordings, short video clips, etc. to recognize and honor your hero who served or is serving in the Armed Forces including Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard! These will be added to our iMovie/Slide Presentation for our Virtual Veterans Day Program on November 11 (Virtual Program). Hurry so that your heroe's story and your name and family will be included in this awesome tribute to our brave Heroes!
Veterans Day - Share Your Hero! Activity Begins WK 10/5/2020 - SEESAW ACTIVITY THIS WK!
This Veterans Day activity is for All Ackerman All-Star Students in 3rd, 4th & 5th Grades who have loved ones who serve or have served past-present in the Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard or National Guard, etc.) For Veterans Day November 11, 2021
Do you have a Veteran Hero in your family? Take a picture of them. Tell about your hero in pic or video.
Using the app Pic EDU or Pic COLLAGE take a picture of the picture of your veteran. If you like, Add background, stickers and text to make a collage.
Save the collage to your camera roll.
Open
Record your hero, your hero with family, or family members holding a photo of your hero or heroes.
Note: If you prefer to send in photos or video (with heroes service information/family members, etc.)

2) Watch/ listen/ and Echo Sing along with this Sing-a-long book. Send back a video, audio recording, photo. You may be creative and write/sing your own story changing the characters (Show and Tell)
