HAL Identification Procedures

Millard middle schools conduct qualification testing for HAL in the spring. To qualify students for HAL testing, we use a point-based system that takes into account MAP and NeSA/NSCAS data. If a student qualifies for testing, they will take the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT.) This test determines whether or not a student qualifies for the HAL Program.
