Homework

Homework

Homework will become a part of your third grader's routine. This is a new step for your child but one that will teach responsibility, planning skills, study skills, and also reinforce the learning that occurs at school. Your child will bring home a Student Planner each day that lists the homework to be done each day. Please sign the planner each night as a method of communication between home and school. Most weeks, spelling tests will be Wednesday, with the new spelling list going home that day. Mrs. Rupp (your child's math teacher) will send home math homework on most Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Students will have time to begin the homework during math time, but unfinished work is to be completed and returned to school the next day. Occasionally, there may be a science or social studies test to study for, but checking the Student Planner nightly will alert you to those upcoming tests!

If you have any questions, please email that subject's teacher (listed below).
