How many students are in class? - We have 22 students (10 girls, 12 boys)

When is library? - We have library on Tuesdays and books should be returned by then. 

What do we need for P.E. / Art? - We have P.E. on Mondays and Fridays. Athletic shoes are recommended. Art is on Wednesdays, and we do paint occasionally. 

What homework will my child have? - We have homework on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. It will involve

Can I bring treats for student birthdays? - Yes, we celebrate birthdays and half birthdays (for those students with summer birthdays). Treats are welcomed, but must be store bought. Feel free to bring non food items as well. 

What can my child bring from home? - Students can bring learning supplies. Students with phones or smart watches will need to have them turned off and in their backpacks until school is dismissed. If they prefer, I can store them (turned off) in the classroom.

When are MAP tests? - We take them in fall, winter, and spring. I will let you know exact dates. Fifth grade also takes the NSCAS (state test) in math, ELA, and science. That will be in the spring - I will let you know the exact dates. 

When are conferences? - They are held in October and March. Exact dates will be sent closer to that time. 

Can I bring a water bottle or snack? - Yes, please bring both!
