Concerts:
Our concerts will be on December 7th & April 18th.
Both are at Russell Middle School (172nd & Q)
It will begin at 7 p.m. Students need to be there by 6:40 p.m.
Students need to bring their instrument, music, and either a dozen servings of a dessert or two 2 liters of pop/juice. Check announcements and emails as we get closer to the event for details.
Concerts are special events so students dress in fancy clothes. Please make sure the student can still move around enough in those clothes to hold and play their instrument properly.
Vala's Pumpkin Patch! (5th Grade students only)
5th grade orchestra students are invited, but not required, to perform a scary story at Vala's Pumpkin Patch on October 3rd. There are two times that students can perform at, so you can choose what works best for your family's schedule. The two performance times are 5:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Each student performer gets in for free and one adult gets in for free with them. Sign up here if you are interested! Fiddle Fest!
This optional activity is a super fun time for everyone in orchestra, grades 4-8. Students learn to play fiddle styles, listen to a professional fiddler, and more! Fiddle Fest takes place on March 23rd at Beadle Middle School from 10-1:45 p.m. with a short performance at 1:30 p.m. Sign up and music coming soon!
Late Start Schedule:
When there is a 2 hour late start, there are no before school classes. We still have any classes that are scheduled during the school day and they are shortened to 20 minutes to help accommodate the late start.
